Massive seamless open-world that still feels like Diablo
Evocative art direction and presentation
One of the best narratives in the franchise to date, and for the action RPG genre
Deep character customisation and a great mix of skills, items, and other mechanics to create builds
Robust endgame with several activities and things to do, with real incentives to roll new characters
A great foundation to build on
Quality of life features like a separate Gem tab feel like an oversight
Skills could use more passives and variety to offer multiple versions for each class
As wonderfully cinematic as the main campaign is, the game could use more highly detailed real-time cinematics

Complete and complex game
Well-dosed difficulty adapted to all players.
Dark atmosphere well rendered thanks to top-notch art direction and a superb soundtrack.
Problem of distribution of mob density

Extensive character customization.
What you love about the series, refined and perfected.
LOOT! LOTS OF LOOT!
Microtransactions (in French: microtransactions)

Deep and solid gameplay
High cinematographic quality
Excellent plot, especially for the characterization of NPCs.
Game world design
Character customization and progression system.
This is only the beginning.
A fight that could become boring in the long run.

A rich and well-written campaign
Many high-level activities
A busy and interesting open world.
A devilish attention to detail.
A morbid and gripping atmosphere
Cinematics, each one more memorable than the last.
An incredible soundtrack and sound effects.
The interest of classes according to the advancement of the character is quite variable.
The scaling system sometimes lacks coherence.

Deep and complex end of the game
Technically and graphically cutting-edge.
Functional and well thought out gameplay
Great royalty and history of excellent quality
Lack of shared progress in cooperation.
Microtransactions and the battle pass somewhat detract from the franchise.

Incredibly captivating story
The atmosphere and design are perfect.
Many side quests and dungeons always follow the same progression.
The further away we get from the main story, the more boring it becomes.

Lilith is a formidable antagonist.
Excellent characterization of the characters.
Many choices: it is possible to choose to play with others or alone.
Graphically wonderful;
Gargantuan and endless gameplay.
Available in Italian.
Open world structure not always exciting: in some cases, it is scattered.
Balancing not yet perfect, especially for certain classes.

Rich and rewarding game.
Game in continuous expansion.
Dark atmospheres are beautiful.
The end of the game could become repetitive after a while.

Fully localized for Brazilian Portuguese.
A lot of things to do, a lot of goals to achieve.
The best story of the series.
The post-match has everything to be fun.
The lag that occurs when changing regions is a problem.
There could be more types of random events.

The management of weapons and equipment has become much more comfortable.
The management of skills is clearer than in its predecessor.
The death summoners and the dodge roll are also present from the beginning on PC.
The story is sometimes quite confusing, but at its core it is usually simple.
The higher world always remains the same, regardless of character.

Gameplay is addicting and the open-world is a treat to explore.
It's an absolute blast to play.
Quality of life decisions that make no sense.
Some endgame design choices run the risk of turning people off.

A gargantuan world open to explore.
The new options for classes enhance their versatility.
A plethora of content that will keep you occupied for years.
Seasonal component unfortunately unpredictable.
Some hesitations due to the model always being online.

The world is meticulously crafted and feels like a playground to explore at your leisure
An audio-visual treat for the senses
Enemy variety is a buffet of fun things to maim
Boss encounters are a spectacle
Feels right at home with a controller
Are keystone dungeons a worthy successor to Rifts?
Flickering in cutscenes is woefully off putting

Very organized user interface.
Proven Diablo 3 commands
Game controller support
For some, a level of difficulty more challenging than in Diablo 3...
Complete and varied campaign
Combine the best content from parts 2 and 3.
A wide range of talent selection possibilities.
A considerable scope with 115 dungeons, 200 side quests, and numerous activities.
Booty, booty and even more booty.
Four global levels of difficulty.
Paragon level with new development possibilities later in the game.
A lot of fan-service with old friends.
Events and invasions with other players.
PvP zones for those who prefer to assassinate other players.
High-quality rendering sequences from Blizzard
Magnificent world of animated gaming.
Hordes of opponents on the screen.
Day-night change with weather system.
Individually customizable heroes and transmogrification from the start.
Orchestral music with other interesting influences.
A great ambient sound atmosphere.
Many NPCs talk to us or to others.
Accents specific to each region with the original tone in English.
Very good German texts and synchronization.
... a more demanding level of difficulty for others than in Diablo 3.
No new classes, many talents taken 1:1.
Agricultural property system
No quest log.
No more boss farms.
Pure online game without offline mode.
Jerkiness in many players at the same spot.
Keyboard bug that prevents keys from responding, slows down (again) the game in a freezing way.
The books that have been read are drowned out by the noise of the battle.
Dialogues break when one approaches too quickly.

It offers a very classic and malleable gameplay.
MMO component only superficially explored.
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

... if you want to experience the best story in the history of Diablo.
... if you missed the dark atmosphere of Diablo 2.
The balancing of classes must be absolutely perfect for you.
... you prefer playing Path of Exile anyway.

Organic progression that encourages the player to do what they want.
A redefinition of the formula with an MMO aspect.
A gigantic open world full of secrets.
Beautiful graphics and perfect optimizations.
Still just as fun with several people.
Gameplay with finely tuned classes that are very different.
A real feeling of power as you progress.
A detailed narrative that will delight lore fans.
Issues with balancing between classes.
Unwelcoming for new players.
What about the economic model?

Refines the Diablo formula
Strong world building and narrative threads
Well-balanced range of classes
Strongholds are an exciting new addition
Important narrative context is hidden in side content
Bland protagonist

Classes are ripe for customisation, and encourage experimentation
Sanctuary successfully makes the jump to open-world, and is packed with things to do
Autosaving could be a bit more generous

Large open world with many dungeons
Numerous character builds and cosmetic options
Requires a Battle Pass investment to get the most out of it
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Immersive Cutscenes
Huge Character Customisation Features
Large Replayability
Deep Lore
Text-based dialogue ruins immersion
Minor technical issues
Microtransactions
Always Online

Excellent visuals and music
Lots of builds to try out
More elaborate narrative
Intense combat
Open world can feel empty at times
Level scaling negatively impacts how powerful you feel

Various course options
Skills synergize beautifully with constructions.
Great vocal performance
Rewarding exploration
Satisfactory loot system
Tight opponent-scale
Microtransactions (microtransactions)
Gang fights can become monotonous.
The side quests resemble checklists.

The false MMO direction as a natural evolution of the series that brings the world to life and allows for easy meeting and communication between friends and acquaintances.
Strongholds are the best limited content addition in open world during the story.
Nightmare dungeons are the essence of the plot at the end of the game.
For "build crafting", it refers to the way we will construct our character through the tools provided by the game.
An exceptional user interface that makes navigating menus easy, with excellent adaptation to manipulation conditions with a gamepad.
The initial classes are the most typical, but they could have been better.
Mobile games have a richer character creator.
Good foundations for the launch, but without neglecting the quality of life additions that the title is seeking, as well as balancing issues with creating each class and scaling levels.
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

The violence of the fights.
An open world fortified.
The Nightmarish Dungeons
The cooperative that works well (and up to 4).
Hours and hours of play
Server issues (again?)
The farming key

The skill tree is nice.
Dubbing, and the atmosphere.
Restarting a character every season
A feeling of lesser power.

A lot of content
The effective scenario
An accessible episode
Repetitive content
A game that wants you to reach for your wallet again.
A very classic hack and slash.
Level scaling in multiplayer
Story
reviewed at 20/11/2023 - Diablo IV: Season 2 ? Season of Blood [read the full review on 3RD Strike]

The aesthetic and presentation, particularly the CG cutscenes, is excellent
The main cast is voiced exceptionally well, with some great interactions
Decent variety of enemies and solid boss battles
Heaps of content to complete in the open world
Some end-game activities, like Nightmare Dungeons, can be fun and challenging
No separate storage tab for Gems
Not the best horse-riding experience
Odd twists during the story and weird pacing during Acts 4-6
Loot feels serviceable at best, unenthusiastic at worst, and the power climb starts to plateau past level 20 with barely any changes to strategy (even with new loot tiers and Paragon Boards)
Some endgame activities like Helltides feel underwhelming

The Pit is still plenty of fun
Account-wide Paragon levels
The Dark Citadel raid misses what makes Diablo special
You reach the endgame loot grind too quickly now
Lacklustre party finder for the raid in particular
