Interesting and different new locations and environments
Cuts out the shoddy, overbearing, exposition.
Even more annoying platforming sections.
Some enemies kill the flow of combat, antithetical to everything Doom should be.
Some combat sections feel never-ending, taking too long, which is a killer since your last save is before that section.
