When the scares took place, they provided some enjoyable moments of anxiety.
The performance by Matthew Lillard is one of the best highlights of the movie.

The movie's plot is all over the place and is seemingly hard to follow.
The conclusion doesn't quite hit the mark in the end.
There is way too much time in dreams/PTSD memory and not enough in Freddy Fazbear.
Reduce the scary parts significantly so that the rating will allow them.
Extremely sluggish in areas that are not near the Fazbear site.
