To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Lots to see, do, and work towards.
Constantly tense, thrilling gameplay.
Despite some issues, good visual and audio design.
Heaps and heaps of replay value.
Could have used more alien types.
Quake 1 style movement and fast-paced combat
Build your spaceship in a quick and modular fashion
UI and in-game interfaces are all clean and sleek
Walking around your ship and checkout the layout seconds after building is impressive
Trying to deal with an out of control alien infestation
Great performance across all platforms with fast loading
Outside of trading there are no friendly alien encounters
The final FPS ?Genesis Mission?, when seeding a planet, is mostly average

Excellent UI that is both thematic and very user-friendly
Interesting cloning system based around genetic materials you've captured and want to splice into your clones
Huge size and scale, thanks to the ability to explore every inch of your ship and see the galaxy around you out of the windows
Ship areas, aliens and more that are great to look at and highlight their obvious inspirations
The roguelike and random nature can make resources challenging to come across
Resource limitations can make early infestations almost insurmountable and can stifle progress throughout
Lacks any real story to engage you beyond the gameplay itself

Looks great
Unpredictable with action points being thrilling
Runs very smoothly
Gameplay loop can get repetitive
Overly bright lighting on some planets

Shipbuilding is in Depth and Nice
Cloning to prevent death is fun
Cannot load old games or start new games sometimes

Provides you with a challenge
Interesting range of weapons.
Planet section could have been more fleshed out
A melee weapon would have been neat when you run out of ammo.

Looks pretty, on the spaceship and on planets.
Fortifying your ship with turrets and energy shields is satisfying.
Shooting feels decent.
Crew members have no personality.
Grindy gameplay gets boring at times.
