Knockdown 2.0, Revival, and other new mechanics augment the time not spent killing things
Six-player co-op in the Spirit Realms
Exalted Update (Shards, Ascendancy, more) free to all players
More contextualized story with more dialogue and even AI companions.
Timing attacks make Godfall feel more like a character action game
New augments earned in Spirit Realms can offer dual primary traits

No new Valorplates this time around
A bigger budget brawler this time around but still lacking in content in the earlier levels
No map in the Spirit Realm, instead relying on Spirit Vision which easily gets blocked by walls and objects
Weapons still feel largely interchangeable without the feel of earning a truly legendary piece of gear
Still no drop-in/drop-out multiplayer for the various modes
