Cross-play works from day one
PvPvE format works well as enemy AI are just as much a threat as other players
Persistent progression with unlockable character skills and cosmetics
Solid utilization of 3D audio and DualSense haptics on PlayStation 5
Vivox team chat works well even with cross-platform play
Melee system needs some fine tuning and balancing, especially with certain character's heavy attacks
Only one character and additional gameplay mode on the Year One roadmap
Overall experience feels like what could best be described as a competitive MP mode for Assassin's Creed
Existing framework limited in scope in terms of content to keep players engaged beyond launch week
Continuous audio bugs, including lingering in another player's lobby chat even when leaving the match and returning to the hideout
In-game ping system rarely targets what you want to call out on the first try
Janky and awkwardly framed animations including assassinations
Immersive atmosphere
Novel levelling mechanics
Fun mix of classes and characters
Environments can become samey
Some irritating balance issues
