Pros and cons for SaGa Frontier Remastered List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Incredibly creative story
Makes JRPG combat fun
Breakneck pace
Interesting setting to explore
Easy to get stuck
Unpredictable difficulty spikes
Confusing writing

Speedrun tech and glitches still exist in Remastered, including the infamous Junk Shop glitch
Missing story cutscenes for Asellus restored to modern glory
Carrying over gold and stats (and resetting battle rank) into New Game Plus makes subsequent playthroughs so much quicker
Monster tech are much easier to manage, resulting in having more control over the monster you want to transform into
2x-3x speed boosts a godsend for replaying scenarios or just rushing through safe combat
Most of new content focuses solely on Asellus and Fuse, leaving weaker campaigns like Lute's behind in the dust
Combat difficulty rapidly ramps up if you treat SaGa like a traditional JRPG and just try to grind for higher stats
Sparking some of the rarer techs like Life Sprinkler (Spray of Life) or Giant Swing come very infrequently
Not all enemy models and backgrounds touched up nicely, resulting in some very blurry messes
Occasional input lag in combat menus

Additional content is a nice bonus
