Vibrant and lurid PSX-style visual design that doesn't rely of aggressive low-rez textures or warbling
Classic survival-horror gameplay with puzzles and chocies
Scenic vistas and picturesque forboding fixed camera angles
Laid-back adventure game and lite-RPG elements
New game plus and multiple endings add substantial hours of replay value

Arrogantly written and insufferable themes, characters, and concepts that veer off into utter disdain
The "keep away" combat system just does not work at all when battling multiple foes
Some quality-of-life features go too far in making the game too easy and completely undermine the entire experience
