Pros and cons for Tactics Ogre Reborn List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

A very good scenario.
An extra soundtrack.
A mythical title modernized and easier to access.
The various additions.
Some fights a little difficult and long.
The camera keeps the last vision used during the actions of the opponents and it is impossible to put the isometric view back before one of our units.

Deep, lasting, artistically still splendid
Orchestrated music and dubbed dialogue

No prior knowledge needed
Automatic mode
Many missions, classes and characters
A challenging story
No random battles
Nonlinear campaign mode plus timeline
Lots of skills and abilities
Wide range of crafting options
Extended optional missions
Permadeath (with new "save it in 3 turns" mechanism)
Great improvement of the original style
Cuddle effects for weather, spells and extras

Lots of Replay Value
Fantastic Story and Worldbuilding
Lots of Customization
Guest Character AI is Terrible
Era-Typical Difficulty Spikes

Charming diorama-esque maps with impeccable detail
The revamped gameplay makes the deep gameplay more convenient and challenging
Hitoshi Sakamoto's music flawlessly captures the tone and immerses the player in the setting
Utterly classy voice acting and the beautifully written script makes this one the most mature and refined experiences Square Enix ever produced
The rogue class is completely inaccessible to the player

Lots of choices and customizations
Excellent soundtrack
Voice acting well done
Many improvements over its predecessor

High-quality story and renewed gameplay
The clever rebirth of a must-have game for those who love tactical JRPGs.
For better or worse, the cards add RNG.

Gameplay expands with several new features
It will keep you busy for a long time
Graphically, more could have been done

The combat system is still in place.
Improvements in quality of life are being implemented very well.
The strategy is rewarding.

Buff cards add spice to battles...
Well-written and highly ramified plot
Long lifespan and extremely replayable
Excellent dubbing in English and Japanese
... but also an undesirable factor of randomness
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

The story for fans of political conspiracy
Top gameplay
The amount of information available about the combat zone

Deep and challenging tactical gameplay
Many changes in quality of life
Technical restoration is what it is, but it works
Good dubbing
The new interface does not work at all
Some design changes only partially work

Keeping the classic pixel art gives it a distinctive touch
The reorchestration of the soundtrack is a real delight
Unique difficulty with irregular, sometimes almost unfair peaks
It sins to be non-communicative in some aspects

Gorgeous art style has held up well
Satisfying hands-on character progression
I wish certain new features were optional
Some menus could use streamlining

Elegant visual redesign...
Accessibility improvements...
Fair challenge, and options for neophytes
Outstanding soundtrack
Great writing skills
Strong characters to whom we attach ourselves
Substantial service life
Affordable price (45 euros on average)
... Losing the charm of the apparent pixel
... But an interface still too austere

Lots to customise for each character
The Wheel of Fortune makes changing decisions easy
Some really unique mechanics
Looks dated even with improvements

Bland visuals.

Chariot Tarot rewinds story and battle at your leisure
Solid array of character classes to explore
Beautifully re-arranged and remixed soundtrack
Good spread of end-game and optional challenges
Tried and true turn-based tactical combat
All party members level up together in any combat
High-tier classmarks can be very difficult to obtain
Some content is locked in the game's database

Various gameplay changes make the experience more effective than the original game...
New orchestral sound compartment
... But inefficient tutorial management will make it difficult to understand many of these elements.

Combat is fun and challenging
Incredible AI, both for enemies and your own characters
Story drags in the latter half

Redesigned and streamlined gameplay
Narrative always intriguing and sometimes moving
Not very accessible in terms of difficulty

The dubbing of good quality...
Welcome gameplay improvements
...but no VF available.
The story is dense, prepare accordingly!

Strategic depth
Engaging story
Historically significant
Dated graphics

Raw and impactful dialogue
Wondrous re-worked live music to immerse yourself in the battlefield
Debuff cards make for an exciting risk vs reward.
Shops and save points can be too spaced out, hindering progress significantly
Some of that magic pixel art work is lost in the up-resing.

Many improvements compared to previous versions
Classic but effective gameplay
Many possibilities in the management of our units
Good art direction
The staging that has not moved
It remains inaccessible and difficult

Plenty of welcome quality of life updates
Gripping story with multiple routes
Simple, satisfying combat
Disappointing visuals thanks to the non-optional smoothing filter
Really deserved the HD-2D treatment

Mechanics still relevant
Stellar longevity
Very few aesthetic improvements

Various quality of life changes to make things more streamlined
Full VA adds a lot to the presentation and drama
