Refresh rate decreasing on the television

The first journey starring Zelda.
Many optional activities and rewards.
Some slight slowdowns from time to time.

Charming art direction
Great dungeons and quest design
Overly simplistic story

Hearty in duration, without being tiring.
The great comeback of dungeons, just as we loved them.
The exploration of Hyrule operates in a reciprocal and non-coercive manner.
Smart design of areas that effectively utilize gameplay.
The game map and the dungeon map modify the data in the 2D games of the series.
The Echoes and their wide variety, offering many options to the player...
Some of the echoes of the monsters do not immediately respond to the traversal of the map.
The loot from chests and rewards from side missions are often disappointing.

Excellent gameplay mechanics.
Wonderful audiovisual.

Classic gameplay with a modern twist
The Ecos system and the linking capability multiply the gaming possibilities.
A much larger map with tons of content at our disposal.
The selection system of Ecos seems tedious.
Let it end!

The echo system works wonders...
The return of dungeons...
An exhilarating and rewarding exploration
A high-quality soundtrack
The return of the series codes
Interesting side quests
An artistic direction that fits the game
... despite a non-ergonomic selection tool
... but a little simple
A dispensable swordsman mode
A wobbly system of buffers
The uninteresting vending machines

Game open to exploration
Old school dungeons
Superb soundtrack
Experience the story as Zelda
Way too many echoes in the long run
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Seriously clever gameplay
Unique ideas throughout
Side-quests rewards can be poor

Every echo has potential and endeavours to reward experimentation
Masterclass presentation of sound and visuals
Craftily augments recent, bigger TLOZ innovations for the smaller scale
The countless echoes desperately needed a purpose-built inventory system
Single-button camera targeting is frustrating

Exciting lines, to collect and use.
Excellent dungeons
Beautiful progression, playful and narrative.
Excellent music
Confused Replicas Menu
Unstable refresh rate, especially when the Switch is in the Dock.

Playable Zelda, finally
The presentation is gorgeous
Echoes UI is very unwieldy
Boss fights a little underwhelming

Classic Zelda dungeons are a treat
Lovely-looking overworld with beautiful music
Hero Mode is genuinely challenging
Cats everywhere
Lock on is a bit fiddly
Automatons feel like an afterthought

Expertly crafted dungeons that blend classic and modern Zelda styles
Well-paced narrative with heartwarming arcs
Charming and vibrant visual design

A perfect blend of classic and innovative elements
Hyrule is a place full of challenges and mysteries.
The Replicas system rewards ingenuity and creativity.
The performances are not solid at all.

Musical support and melodies
2D platform world in three directions
Variety of possibilities to solve puzzles
Few possibilities in terms of difficulty level
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

emergent gameplay emphasizes player agency and creativity
great dungeon design that marries creative problem solving with classic Zelda dungeons a lot better than the open world titles do
great boss fights
very charming.
the UI can get very messy towards the later parts of the game
the combat is inarguably the weakest part of the game.

Charming diorama-style toyetic graphics
Zelda's echoes foster unbelievable creativity to solve problems in nigh endless ways
The world size is the largest ever in a 2D Zelda game
Jam-packed with content and things to see and do

Bring a good amount of echoes
The gameplay of Zelda is perfect.
Some performance issues

Great ecosystem that cleverly forms the pivot of the adventure.
Zelda finally playable continuously
Very beautiful graphics and great soundtrack
Several spectacular boss battles
Almost every situation can be resolved in a different way.
Many optional and secret contents
Large diverse world with many climatic regions and playful freedoms
A very comprehensive story (of at least 30 hours), beautifully staged.
Comfortable fast travel system
The game does not run smoothly all the time.
The construction is often repeated in a similar manner.

Good automatic backup function with multiple locations.
Fast and comfortable travel
An intelligent echo system is important for battles, puzzles, and skill passages.
Great boss battles
A successful atmosphere in every way
Classic game concept but cleverly modernized
Large open world (although the main quest is relatively linear)
Very detailed and cute graphic style.
Short loading times
Great soundtrack
Classic sounds evoke nostalgia.
The precision of the order is not optimal (especially during the "construction").
Only two memory profiles
Some puzzles and games are a little more difficult than the rest.
In "construction", we generally do the same things very often.
The linearity of the main quest sometimes leads to sudden dead ends during exploration.
Only whispers instead of a voiceover

Clever dungeon design
Cool bosses
Lots of excellent music
Summon list is unwieldy
Weird smoothie rules

... you enjoy creative puzzles where you sometimes have to think in an original way.
... you want to feel perfectly comfortable in a beautifully designed gaming world.
...you are sensitive to fluctuating image refresh rates.
... you hope for a vast open world like in Breath of the Wild.

Zelda's magic leads to some of the series' best moments in years
+
Dungeons are back, and their puzzles are a blast
+
Amazing orchestral soundtrack
Performance is spottier than the Link's Awakening remake
-
Unwieldy menus can cause echo fatigue
-
Momentum-stunting pacing and inconsistent plot

Enjoyable puzzles
Vibrant, memorable world
Poor performance at times

A reinvention of Zelda games in 2D
Creativity at the heart of gameplay
Ergonomic quickly chaotic
Some slowdowns in portable mode

No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Interesting game world to explore
Classic Zelda dungeons are awesome
It's too hard to find specific echoes after you collect a lot of them

A new Zelda adventure with its own identity
He breaks the conventions of the franchise and that changes the way you understand the game.
Well-executed artistic direction with precise sound design.
The creativity of Tears of the Kingdom, but with the classic style of Zelda.
On many occasions, the fight is not very interesting.
A good idea that needs to mature to become spectacular.

...and very unconvincing constraints
... sometimes to the detriment of gameplay

Echo system creates unique combat and puzzle scenarios
Gives a unique perspective on a world Link has already been through

I share a fluctuating technical compartment, just like the pace of the game.
Secondary content that can be improved, including "Costumes"

The classic formula slightly modernized
New mechanics that offer a lot of possibilities
True freedom in our approaches to situations
A good artistic direction
A map that is too reminiscent of previous games.
Improvable controls

A permissive and creative gameplay that is satisfying...
An arsenal of cool and intuitive capabilities
A sublime soundtrack
A breathlessness that is also felt in pure and hard exploration

Adorable world
? Reflection and ingenuity
A very cute and accessible version, even suitable for the youngest.
Will appeal to both old and new players
