Compelling narrative and relationship building
Lovely art style
Faux-medieval English initially annoys

Fantastic visuals, character designs, and environments
Enchanting and enthralling soundtrack rife with leitmotifs
Masterfully paced and addicting gameplay that keeps you coming back
Absurd amount of content in a complete game with no DLC

Easily accessible so that the newest tactical game fan or the most harden of veteran can enjoy
A sight and sound to perfectly match every scenario
Characters, particularly the protagonist Alain, are always endearing and interesting
Some town liberations add little to the way of side stories or plot

Great gameplay, complex but very satisfying.
Simple but addictive story
Huge variety of classes and characters
Location in Spanish of 10

Exploring the map is very fun, just like liberating and rebuilding cities.
The combat model is challenging, but fair.
A lot of depth with the different classes, skills, and how each one opposes the others.
The skill control system is very interesting, reminiscent of what was seen in titles like Final Fantasy XII.
The legend in Portuguese was missing.
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Challenging and rewarding combat
Immensely flexible customisation
Thoughtful progression for a cohesive gameplay loop
Some of the best 2D visuals around

new player friendly
tons of content

Long life, and with great freedom of action.
The Ogre Battle formula, but perfected
Exciting plot, but scattered once you start following the side quests.

He has social mechanics to improve your relationship with the characters.
He has repeatable levels to level up your characters.
A large number of playable characters
He has the iconic artistic style of the studio.

Many classes and recruitable characters
The usual sublime aesthetic attention of Vanillaware.

Intense narrative developments if they are linked to numerous characters;
Wonderful artistic direction;
Fun and strategic game;
Available in Italian language.
Moral choices to delve into.
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Your combat and troop management system is incredible and innovative.
Great artistic design and graphic treatment
Unforgettable soundtrack, also benefiting from great dubbing.
There is very little variety in the game, as it consists of a succession of combat and exploration phases.

easy to access despite incredible depth
looks like a living illustration book
packed with content
excellent performance
some sexist character designs
too many archetypes and fantasy clichés
goodbye to your social life

Exemplary learning curve
Constantly offers something new
Huge cast of charming characters
Some emotional story moments
Gorgeous art direction
Rousing soundtrack
Later battles can be glacial
Micromanagement won't be for everyone

Incredibly complex and nuanced game
Surprising narrative rich in intrigues and alternatives
Sometimes, missions tend to be too chaotic and crowded.

Packed full of varied overworld tasks
Extremely good at teaching you how to play
Stunning visuals and music
Charming characters

Fun tactical combat with more emphasis on management than move execution.
Story is tried 'n true, but paced and told well.
Game does its best to change up the pacing of its battles through random events.
The game likes to pause a lot.

Wide variety of character classes to mix and match
Strong tactical combat
Vast world to explore and plenty of secrets to discover
Vanillaware's most beautiful art style yet
Fantastic soundtrack
Some character designs are just ridiculously horny
"Careful. You walk out and it's gone forever."

Very well-crafted game mechanics
Excellent artistically
Very satisfactory progress
The story is a patchwork of clichés that serves only as a simple playable vehicle.

Gorgeous characters and world
Loads of elements to tinker with
Card Game could use better instructions

Highly detailed world and characters
Plenty to explore and discover

Planning and strategising
Epic story with talented voice cast
Amazing 2D anime medieval fantasy themed art style

Players might want more input in the battles
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Does a great job of teaching you about all the complex mechanics
Loads to keep you busy on the overworld
Breathtakingly beautiful
Some battles go on a bit long

The incredible amount of customization options when managing our army. Enthusiasts of testing strategies and combinations will be satisfied. Additionally, it allows you to save configurations and strategies so you can quickly load them.
Even with so many things to take into account, the difficulty and learning curve is so well measured that before moving on to the next lesson, you have perfectly understood the previous one.
In 95 percent of missions, the objective is simply to defeat the opponent. A little more variety would be appreciated.
The stock management menus are not as intuitive as they should be.

A beautiful soundtrack to die for
A well-crafted scenario

We would have appreciated slightly deeper relational moments.

Many things to do
An accessible Tactical-RPG

There is always something to do or discover.
Pleasant and easy-to-use menus (which is great, since we will be spending a lot of time there!)
