Progression always carries forward unless playing a No Death run
While randomly generated, loot can always be found in specific areas
Embark and loot without having to fire a single bullet
Art style looks great in full HD
Optional challenge runs if you really want to be a masochist.

Some enemies are a huge waste of ammo if you don't use specific gadgets to counter
Limited number of weapons and gadgets to wield
Simpler than other roguelite/roguelike titles
Pirate frigates are a massive hassle to deal with if you haven't looted any torpedoes to deal with them
