Voidwrought?s Egyptian-sci-fi style and hand-drawn art are a joy to look at.
Combat is fast and controls are precise with a cool backwards moving mechanic.
The boss fights are unique and difficult, but fun to get through.
The soundtrack perfectly matches the game?s aesthetic.

The storyline is light, which may feel lacking for some.
Fast travel unlocks a bit late, so you have to deal with some backtracking.

Niche Gamer

The game's art is great and the cult aesthetic is done well
Both platforming and combat are smooth, even if simple
Exploration is generally fun save for a few moments of getting stuck

The player barely gets any combat tools throughout the entire game
Finding the correct way to progress at some points is difficult
A lot of the unlockable upgrades are redundant and don't have much use aside from specifically interacting with certain objects
