Appealing visual style that draws you in.
Fun and easy to digest gameplay.
Tons of modes including arcade and online versus.
Deep map customization and creation system.
Later campaign missions can become extremely grindy.

A heady does of variety mission to mission from a tactical perspective
Map design also highlights the above in an excellent way
The addition of multiplayer and a map editor give the base game excellent value
Some missions, even if you?re able to beat them can take a really long time
And also if you die in said missions, you need to reinvest all that hard work again from the top of that mission


Simple but challenging gameplay

Pace of battles can be grueling
Unit range and damage can be difficult to decipher

Controls well, with fluid and responsive handling.
Looks and sounds good.
Menus don't always relay information well.
Online just didn't work, for me.
