Several easter eggs referring to previous games
Surprisingly long campaign for a cheap game
Characters are boring and don't interact enough to justify their inclusion in the game (and half of them also contradict lore)
Reduced player freedom, both in tactical and strategic layers
More buggy than Newfoundland after being invaded by Chrysalids
Fine as a spinoff, but if it sets the groundwork for XCOM 3, the franchise is in big trouble
