Pros and cons for Alisa Developer's Cut List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Creepy atmosphere and story
New Game
+
A couple of technical hitches in our playthrough that cost progression

Excellent, creepy enemy design
Lots of unlockable weapons and outfits
Environments provide plenty of unsettling variety
Solid replayability with multiple endings and New Game
+
Really requires knowledge and a willing embrace of outmoded game mechanics to enjoy

Lynchian sense of humor
Some exceptions, but very targeted
"Modern" adjustable controls

Maniacal reproduction of horror atmospheres from the PS1 era.
Controls, camera, music, voice acting, and historically accurate combat.
Very frustrating for those who are not dedicated to the genre.

Good story
Retro gaming from the ?90s brought back to life
Controls take a lot of getting used to

Classic and current control options
A whole memory
The aiming system is terrible.
It is neither translated nor dubbed.

Uncanny atmosphere and eerie music
Inventive puzzle design for a classic survival-horror game
Cheeky level design for the Doll House
Fishing and lots of replay value and costumes to unlock
Not being able to use the D-pad for tank controls is sacrilege
Nonsensical targeting system

A tribute to our memories from the 90s.
Quite a few winks that the older ones will understand.
A gloomy and distressing sound atmosphere
Uncharismatic bosses
Boring story
A fun game on PC, but pointless on Next Gen console.
Insipid character

Auto-aim is available, which makes it simpler to target certain enemies.
Puzzles that are easy to solve and allow for a smooth progression through certain sections.
The character's voice lines are monotonous, which results in the character's speech sounding soulless.
The slowness of manual aim makes it feel like a chore to engage in combat with enemies.
There is just one location to save, which means that you will need to go back and forth frequently.
With auto-aim, the player receives a handicap, resulting in fewer "toothwheels."
