To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

Character sprites, gameplay, music and the story is well established throughout the game, making it a very delightful experience.
Combat is easy to understand and navigate, players are never under the pressure and side quests do not steer the player away.

Distinctive regions to explore
Hugely accessible for younger players

Some weapons/attacks are difficult to execute.
The pseudo Chat during battles.
The world map is not very detailed.
The 3D navigation can be frustrating at times (when falling into void).
The music is a bit repetitive.

Writing and animation combine for a laugh-out-loud comedic style
From looks to music, there's little about the presentation that's not to love

Fantastic soundtrack that kept me humming long after I was done playing
Generally load times are between 15-30 seconds and they happen frequently
Leveling system stuck behind collectables feels makes combat feel meaningless
Side quests rarely ever gave rewards and if they did, it was largely unhelpful
Systems like food preferences, and audience participation were unnecessary and confusing features
