Electric Bike Report

Ride long and fast with dual 48V, 720 Wh batteries (a total capacity of 1,440 Wh!) and a solid 15 mph speed with low assist!
Incredible stability while riding due to the massive custom Kenda/Himiway 26?x4.5? fat tires and overall weight of 104 lbs.
A comfortable ride with high seating, a wide, cruiser-style saddle, and ergonomic rubber grips.
If speed and power are appealing, you?ll love the punchy throttle!
Made to fit big & tall riders, with a height range up to 6?4? and a total weight capacity of 400 lbs.
A mid-drive motor helps the D5 Ultra respond like a normal bike, but amplifies your pedal effort.
The quality 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain offers functional gearing for a heavy bike.

We recommend that Himiway upgrade the brake system. Tektro?s E350 model works well on most bikes, but a stronger 4-piston system would be more suited to handle the D5 Ultra?s weight.
Another tradeoff of weight: this bike is likely to be tough to lift and transport.
Not an outright con, but this mid-drive behaved differently than most. If you?re used to that type of motor, this will likely take some getting used to.
