The story takes some wild twists and turns. The cosmic horror narrative, as advertised, is unpredictable and eerie.
Gory imagery will satisfy those craving that type of entertainment. There is plenty of shock value in some cutscenes.
There is fun to be had in the progressive upgrades you obtain on each level to become a cutthroat firefighter.

Persistent issues interfere with a smooth playthrough. Disorienting camera movement when hit, cumbersome usage of tools, and nonexistent AI work in tandem to deter from an enjoyable experience.
Dated gameplay feels straight out of the 2000s. Janky shooting from the first-person perspective and difficult-to-grasp mechanics can lead to disappointment.
The graphics look clunky and uninspired, and the edgy writing is on par with other budget games of this veneer.
