Pros and cons for Yakuza Like a Dragon List of reviews and ratings
To better compare, we looked for you the advantages and disadvantages of Below and the notes given by specialized sites.

A unique turn-based battle system
Tons of side missions, secrets, and content to explore
Older fans might not enjoy the shift in genre
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Engaging Story with Heart
Goddamn Hilarious
Tons to Do
Excellent Dub
Camera problems during more hectic fights
How it explores gender can get a little weird
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Turn-based combat is a natural fit for Ichiban and party
In-depth minigames that can be lengthy diversions from the main story
The roughly twenty jobs are a unique take on the usual JRPG classes
A new era of heroes
Karaoke and other diversions localized in English for the first time
Ryu ga Gotoku's facial capture still looks fantastic for main characters
Awkward difficulty curve (difficult at the beginning then quite easy as Ichiban levels up)
Some minigames take a lot of repeat playthroughs to earn the best equipment and rewards
Story can be a tough balancing act between heartwrenching despair and genuine, often delusional, happiness
Lots of asset reuse from previous entries, fighting the same greasy goons from the last two decades in Kamurocho

The battle system is great
Arresting story and compelling characters
An incredible amount of content.
Battles are generally extremely easy
Frequent (and long) loading screens break the flow of gameplay and story far too often.

superb main character
interesting world
good variety
well-written story
much to discover
gameplay and narrative are kept separate

Winding Narrative Keeps You Guessing
Strong, Memorable Characters Stick With You
Noticeable Graphic Glitches Can Be Distracting (on PC)
Some Bosses Feel More Like Health Sponges

Turn-based combat still feels quick and satisfying
Delivers on the hallmark absurdity of the Yakuza franchise
Jobs are an amusing spin on classes
Some character and facial animations feel stiff or inconsistent
No "Pros & Cons" find for this reviewer.

Outstanding main cast of characters
Incredible side activities
Punchy turn based combat
Joyous job system
Great sense of humour
Top tier localisation
Takes hours to let you off the leash
PS5 improvements are pretty minimal

Attention to detail shines through in visuals and audio
Presentation does a great job meshing turn-based combat with Yakuza's usual violence
Combat and job systems ultimately feel shallow

Lovable Characters
Fun New Gameplay Systems
Weak Sub-stories

Ichiban Kasuga is a worthy successor as a protagonist
Turn-based combat and the job system fit right into the series
Lots of distractions around Yokohama
I?ve laughed far more times in this game than any other Yakuza game
